Glucosamine is thought to both delay the breakdown, and repair cartilage. 

Glucosamine naturally exists in your body and is used to make glycoproteins and glycosaminoglycans; important building blocks for components of your body e.g. Ligaments, tendons, synovial fluid and joints.

The hydrochloride part of the tablet is used as a carrier in much the same way as sulphate is in Glucosamine Sulphate.

So what is the difference between Glucosamine Hydrochloride and Glucosamine Sulphate? 

• Hydrochloride is sourced from vegetables and is therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
• Hydrochloride contains around 83% glucosamine.
• Sulphate is sourced from shellfish and is therefore not suitable for vegans.
• Sulphate contains around 75% glucosamine.

Take one tablet a day as a food supplement.
