The dishes are made from olive trees that have grown too old to produce Olives. The dish will drain excess liquid through holes in the base, keeping your soap dry and enabling it to last for more washes.

When using any wooden soap dish please ensure the wood is allowed to occasionally dry to reduce the risk of mould appearing. You should feed the wood every now and then by wiping with a little olive oil.

- Do not put in dishwasher as the surface will be damaged.
