An essential product in any household, it is used a lot to make cleaning products at home.
Alcohol vinegar is also used for the preparation of canned vegetables, the preparation of sweet and sour sauce etc.

La Droguerie Ecologique 8% alcohol vinegar is an aqueous solution comprising acetic acid titrated at 8%. Traditionally used in food use in all kitchens around the world, it is also a remarkable household product, multi-use, ecological and inexpensive. 

Multi purpose: food preservative, degreaser, deodorant, descaler, cleanser, food, household, family hygiene and cosmetics.

It behaves like a weak acid CH3-COOH. Neutralise weak bases and to decompose carbonates i.e Limescale.

Kitchen Uses:

Dirty Sponges:  soak in 1 liter of water and 1/4 cup of vinegar.
In the dishwasher,  replace your anti-limescale: ½ glass of white vinegar.
For the maintenance of the refrigerator:  Cleans, deodorises and removes bacteria by wiping with a microfiber cloth impregnated with vinegar.
Cast iron pans: Fill with water and 1/4 cup of vinegar; boil for half an hour and wipe dry. Removes rust stains. Restore the shine of Pyrex dishes and your glasses: A good vinegar soak (diluted or not) for a few hours (depending on their calcification state).

Household Uses

Brass:  Polish with a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and vinegar.
Tins:  Apply the liquid. Let dry and polish.
Molds:  Mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1 litre of water and wash around windows.
Shower head:  Soak in a small bowl filled with vinegar to remove deposits that clog the ducts.
Sink pipes: To keep them clean, pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda, then 1/2 cup of vinegar. Wait 15 minutes and run hot water.
Sparkling windows:  3/4 litre of water and 1/4 litre vinegar in a spray bottle.
Lime deposits:  Rub with pure vinegar.
Blinds and plastic curtains:  Fill a bowl a third full and add liquid soap and 1/2 litre of vinegar. Soak the items to be washed for 30 minutes and rinse well.
Clean your bins:  Prepare a solution of half a litre half water, half vinegar and boil.
Floor tiles:  Two glasses of vinegar in a bucket of hot water.
Floors:  Wash with 4 litres of water, 1/4 cup of liquid soap and 1/2 cup of vinegar.
WC Cleaner: Spray on the side walls, leave to act for 15 to 20 minutes and brush.

Laundry Uses

Detergent:  A glass of vinegar in the fabric conditioner / softening tank (the smell disappears with drying) removes the last residues of lime, revives the colours, prevents black laundry from turning grey, softens the laundry
Washing machine care:  Fill the bowl with lukewarm water and ½ litre of vinegar, then run a regular cycle. Cleans pipes and removes soap and lime residue.

DIY and Garden Uses

To clean garden pots and remove traces of limestone.
Keeps the vitality of picked flowers:  Add 2 tsp of vinegar and 1 tsp of sugar for every 250 ml of water, keeps the freshness of the flowers for longer. Insects hate the taste and smell of vinegar: there are many recipes available on the web.
Rust:  Add 1/4 cup of vinegar to 1 litre of water to clean rust from metal.

Can also be used for Personal hygiene and beauty treatments

A white vinegar rinse allows the hair to be more shiny. It is also an excellent anti-dandruff and dry skin.
